Born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4, 1948, in Detroit, Alice Cooper is an American rock icon and a pioneer of shock rock, known for theatrical performances blending horror and satire. The Alice Cooper band, formed in 1968, achieved rapid success in the 1970s with albums like Love It to Death (1971), School's Out (1972), and Billion Dollar Babies (1973). In 1975, Furnier officially adopted the name Alice Cooper for his solo career, continuing with influential albums and spectacular tours.

In 2025, the original band members reunite for the first time in over 50 years to produce the album The Revenge of Alice Cooper, scheduled for release on July 25. This album, produced by Bob Ezrin, includes posthumous contributions from guitarist Glen Buxton and features collaborations with Robby Krieger of the Doors.
