Bannière Exploited

Punk

The Exploited stands as one of the most iconic names in British punk. Formed in Edinburgh in 1979 by the fierce Wattie Buchan, the band embodies the anger and defiance of the early 80s hardcore scene. With their bright red mohawks, aggressive imagery and uncompromising lyrics, they became an enduring symbol of underground rebellion.

Their debut album Punks Not Dead (1981) remains a punk manifesto, followed by Troops of Tomorrow (1982) and Let’s Start a War (1983), each pushing the boundaries of aggression and protest even further. Decades later, The Exploited still stand tall — raw, political and unapologetic — alongside other icons such as Sex Pistols, The Clash and GBH.
