Ummagumma is the fourth studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd. Released on October 25, 1969 by Harvest records, it is a double album composed of a disc recorded in the studio and another resulting from two concerts.
It contains among others the title Astronomy Domine.
The cover depicts a Droste effect featuring the band, with an image on the wall showing the same scene, but with the band members in different positions. It is the work of the Hipgnosis studio founded in 1968 by Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell.
